They say you can be whatever you want to be. All it takes is hard work and dedication. My Name is Julian Lapene, and I want to be an IBJJF & UFC World Champion.

I've trained woth some of the best grapplers in the world including the legendary Romero "Jacare" Calvacanti, Leo Nogueira , Lucas Lepri, Vic Rosatti and Paul Creighton. All of these people have impacted my journey in a major way. While my goals are clear, I intend to always represent myself as a class competitor on and off the mat. Training everyday to become a champion

Since he was just five years old, Julian has been training at a high level. In his first year of BJJ, Julian wrecked the competition scene and was quickly reagrded as one of the fastest rising stars in the commmunity.

Currently, Julian is competing across the world to continue his quest to be the best. Having fought in multiple Fight To Win Promotions and tournaments in North America, Julian plans on bringing his skills to Brazil, Asia and Dubai next.
